Drone threat

There is no limit to ingenuity so the only restraining factor for drone pilots is the carrying capacity of their devices. With proper tools, it is easy to transform a harmless toy to deadly machine that can fly undetected by traditional radars due to its small reflective surface.

Safety of the world‘s airports, power plants, military compounds, but also data centers and critical infrastructure elements is rapidly decreasing as we stand on the verge of the fourth industrial revolution with drones as one of its core components. There is an increase in number of drone-related incidents during which safety of property or lives was at stake. It is only a matter of time until user carelessness or criminal cunning causes more serious damage.

UAV that lands in unsecured area, such as rooftop and is equipped with hacking device can breach the secured network and gain access to sensitive documents.

SMUGGLING

Smugglers at the Slovak-Ukrainian border are using drones for the transport of cigarettes and other contraband goods. U.S. prisons are also facing a serious problem of trafficking drugs and weapons via drones into common spaces.

TERROR

Members of the ISIS terrorist group are using drones equipped with attached grenades as unconventional means to bomb their targets. It is nearly impossible to take down such small flying object with traditional firearms.
